Proven Air Conditioning & Electrical is looking for an Air Conditioning Technician to join our Sydney team. You'll work across service, fault finding, repairs and installations, predominantly within residential air conditioning.

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work, enjoys solving problems and wants to keep developing their skills while being part of a good team that enjoys what they do.

Coming from commercial HVAC? We'd still like to hear from you.

Don't rule yourself out. Residential experience isn't essential for the right technician. Strong technical ability, workmanship and attitude are what matter, and we'll help you make the transition. 

A lot of your technical skills transfer directly, and we'll help you adapt to the residential side of the industry. If you enjoy fault finding, having ownership of your jobs, dealing directly with customers and seeing a job through from start to finish, you may find the residential service environment a great change. 

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU?

• 45–55/hr base rate, depending on experience and ability

WHAT DOES THE ROLE LOOK LIKE?

No two days are exactly the same. You could be diagnosing a ducted system in the morning, carrying out a repair or maintenance later in the day and helping complete a quality installation the next. You'll be trusted to take ownership of your jobs, communicate with customers and find the right solution while having support available when you need it. Your work will include:

• Air conditioning service and fault finding

• Diagnostics and repairs

• Split and ducted installations

• Preventative maintenance

• Testing and commissioning

• Identifying solutions and recommendations for customers

• Completing jobs to a high workmanship standard

• Providing a professional experience for our customers

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You don't need to know everything on day one. We're more interested in finding someone who is technically capable, takes pride in their work and genuinely wants to become better at their trade. Ideally you'll have:

• Cert III in Air Conditioning & Refrigeration or be a strong 4th Year Apprentice

• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence

• Current Australian driver's licence

• Construction White Card

• Good fault-finding and problem-solving ability

• High workmanship standards

• Confidence working independently

• Good communication with customers and the team

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn and improve
