[Seoul Express] - Full Time Cook, Chef

This is an exciting opportunity to join one of Adelaide's hottest, and leading Korean casual dining restaurant brand as a cook/chef. Seoul Express brand started back in 2006 and we are the Adelaide's only genuine, and authentic Korean restaurant brand who are looking for passionate team member to join our family.

Your Core Duties and Responsibilities:

• To maintain the quality of the food products served
• Ensuring food quality and taste is of the highest standard
• Responsible to ensure the preparation station and the kitchen is set up and stocked
• Responsible to maintain health and high hygienic standard in Kitchen area
• Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area
• Responsible to manage stock inventory and supplies
• Check freshness of food and discard out-of-date items
• Controlling and minimizing food wastage
• Responsible to cook menu in a timely manner with the support of the kitchen staff
• Ensure appealing plate presentation
• Slightly modify recipes to meet customers’ needs and requests
• Discusses food preparation issues with managers, and other staff members
• Requisitions food, kitchen supplies and equipment

Qualifications and Experiences:

Cook/Chef:

• A relevant commercial cookery qualification is required.
• At least 2 years of experience in any Asian kitchen environment preferred.
• Able to work under pressure.

Part time is also available upon request.

Full time permanent position upon approval and successful probation period.
