Barista/Cafe All Rounder

This is an opportunity for a hospitality professional with the drive to deliver exceptional customer experience in a high volume bakery environment. Barista experience is necessary.

A minimum of 2+ years barista experience is required for this position.

We are seeking a casual, experienced barista who is a true all-rounder and can help lead our growing team at Albert Park.

We are open 7 days a week, but close on public holidays (except Good Friday & Easter Saturday) and also enjoy a three week summer closure for all staff to enjoy a break.

Reporting to the front of house manager and directors, this role will support the Manager in leading the team. We are seeking someone who is ready to hit the ground running and possesses the following capabilities and availabilities:

Availability working a rotating week including weekends
Driven and able to thrive in fast paced environments - there's never a dull moment!
Enjoys success in leading and mentoring new staff and staff who are growing their experience
Overseeing cleanliness, presentation & brand integrity for the front of house
Coffee experience is highly desirable
Proven experience with balancing POS
Positive attitude and collaborative nature
Excellent communicator with a natural flair for building lasting relationships with our local customers
Can self manage and shift supervise team in collaboration with the Store Manager
