About the RoleAs a Family Response Facilitator, you'll be the first point of support for vulnerable families seeking assistance.
You will:
We're looking for someone who is passionate about supporting families and thrives in a collaborative team environment.
Essential Skills & Experience✔ Understanding of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures and communities, or willingness to develop cultural capability
✔ Experience working with families, children or individuals using strengths-based, solution-focused approaches
✔ Experience conducting safety and risk assessments
✔ Knowledge of Queensland Child Protection legislation and practice
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
✔ Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team
✔ Sound computer skills including Microsoft Office and client management systems
QualificationsYou will hold qualifications (or equivalent experience) in one or more of the following:
