About The Role

We are seeking an Accountant to join our Business Services team. Working with a diverse portfolio of privately owned businesses, family groups and high-net-worth individuals, you'll contribute to the delivery of high-quality client outcomes and gain exposure to a broad range of compliance and advisory work.

Supported by experienced Managers and Partners, you’ll build strong client relationships, work across a variety of industries and develop the skills needed to thrive in a professional services environment.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

Preparing financial statements and income tax returns for a variety of entitiesAssisting with BAS, FBT and other taxation compliance obligationsMaintaining accurate and well-documented workpapersSupporting tax planning and advisory engagementsAssisting clients with business structuring, cash flow forecasting and general business adviceBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholdersContributing to the delivery of quality outcomes and exceptional client service

About You

We're looking for a motivated and collaborative professional who is keen to grow their career in Business Services.

You'll Ideally Have

Experience within a Business Services or public practice accounting environmentCA or CPA studies underway, or the intention to commenceStrong attention to detail and organisational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA proactive approach and willingness to learnExperience using APS and/or Xero (desirable)
