FP&A Analyst

We are seeking a commercially minded FP&A Analyst to join our Group Finance team at our South Yarra headquarters.

Reporting to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis, this role will support financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic analysis across the GURNER™ Group.

You will work closely with senior stakeholders across finance, sales and project teams, contributing to executive and board reporting while helping enhance our financial models, dashboards and planning processes.

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated finance professional to gain broad commercial exposure and progressively take ownership of key FP&A processes within a fast-growing and dynamic business.

• Support monthly management reporting across the Group, including P&L, balance sheet and cashflow analysis.

• Assist with executive and board reporting, providing clear commentary on key performance drivers.

• Support annual budgeting and reforecasting processes across multiple business units.

• Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and enhance reporting through AI-enabled tools.

• Perform detailed sales, operational and strategic financial analysis.

• Build and improve Excel-based financial models and reporting tools.

• Partner with stakeholders across finance, sales and development to provide meaningful commercial insights.

• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, systems and data quality.

• CA or CPA qualified.

• Advanced Excel and financial modelling capability.

• Experience developing dashboards and analysing data in Power BI.

• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet and cashflow reporting.

• Experience supporting budgeting, forecasting and performance reporting.

• Highly analytical, curious and commercially minded.

• Confident communicating financial insights to a range of stakeholders.

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.

• Comfortable working within a fast-paced and evolving environment.

• Property development, real estate or membership-based business experience will be highly regarded but is not essential.
