Landscape Gardener

Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Landscape Gardener to join our team in Sydney, New South Wales. This temporary, casual role is essential for maintaining and enhancing outdoor spaces, ensuring they are both aesthetically pleasing and functional. The successful candidate will play a vital role in our building and construction projects, contributing to the overall quality and appeal of our developments.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain garden beds, lawns, and other outdoor areas.
• Plant, prune, and care for trees, shrubs, and flowers.
• Install and maintain irrigation systems to ensure optimal plant health.
• Assist in the design and layout of landscaping projects.
• Operate and maintain gardening tools and equipment safely.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and to specification.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with clients.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a tradesperson in landscaping or horticulture.
• Certificate III (or higher) in relevant Horticulture qualification
• Knowledge of plant species and horticultural practices.
• Ability to operate gardening machinery and tools.
• Strong physical fitness and stamina for outdoor work.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• A valid driver's licence is preferred.
