We are currently seeking enthusiastic, caring and committed casual Community Support Workers to join our Community team who has a minimum availability of 3 days per week, including Monday, Friday and flexible day third day

About the Role

As a Community Support Worker, you will play an important role in helping older people remain safely and independently in their own homes.

You will:

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support tailored to each client's individual needs
• Support clients from diverse cultural and personal backgrounds
• Deliver services with compassion, dignity, respect and integrity
• Follow individual Care Plans and Task Lists to provide support including:
  • Personal care
  • General housekeeping
  • Social support and companionship
  • Transport and assistance to attend appointments or activities
• Build positive and respectful relationships with clients and their families
• Support clients to maintain their independence, wellbeing and quality of life

About you:

• A minimum of Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support, a Bachelor/Diploma of Nursing, or completion of the first year of study towards it.
• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Must be available a minimum of 3 days (Availability must fall on a Monday & Friday)
• Outstanding communication skills.
• Demonstrated understanding of person-centred support.
• Full Australian driver’s licence.
• Your own vehicle (registered, roadworthy, and insured).
