Role description

Dhelkaya Health is seeking a dedicated and proactive Theatre Technician to join our team. In this vital role, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, client-focused care by supporting the smooth operation of our surgical services.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist nursing staff and team leaders with patient care and transfers within the hospital.
• Prepare Operating Rooms for a variety of surgical procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the Operating Suite, including mopping floors, removing waste, and handling soiled linen.
• Manage oxygen, nitrous oxide, and carbon dioxide cylinders, ensuring timely replenishment.
• Support the setup, maintenance, and care of surgical equipment.
• Restock consumables and linen, and coordinate deliveries as required.
• Provide messenger services between the Operating Suite and other hospital areas.
• Participate in scheduled cleaning duties, education sessions, and quality improvement activities.
• Uphold strict confidentiality and adhere to all legal and policy requirements.
