About the role

As a Kitchenhand, you'll be an essential part of our kitchen team, helping to ensure smooth day-to-day operation within the kitchen. Working in a fast-paced environment, you'll assist with food preparation, dishwashing, cleaning, stock handling, and maintaining a safe and hygienic workspace. This is a hands-on role that requires a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a willingness to support the team wherever needed. The role offers 15 to 20 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Cleaning and sanitising kitchen equipment, benches, and utensils

• Assisting chefs with basic food preparation

• Operating the commercial dishwasher and maintaining cleanliness in the back of house

• Following all Food Safety and WHS requirements

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Experience working in a fast-paced commercial kitchen

• Knowledge of safe food handling practices and a current Food Hygiene Certificate

• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure

• A team-focused attitude, with good communication and personal presentation

• The ability to follow instructions and manage multiple tasks efficiently
