About the Role
An exciting opportunity exists for a dynamic Primary Teacher to join our team at our Meadow Springs Campus. This is a full-time, ongoing, position commencing Term 1 2027. Frederick Irwin Anglican School welcomes applications from suitably qualified teachers.

Frederick Irwin Anglican School teacher salaries are generally 2.5% above the comparable Department of Education of Western Australia rates.

Classroom and Specialist Teachers
Classroom teachers are required to present purposeful educational programmes to classes allocated to them on the school timetable, and to participate in the general life of the School.

Teachers must:

• Use a diverse range of teaching methods relevant to the activities, interests etc. of the students
• Establish learning expectations for students which are clear, challenging and achievable
• Use ICT in the delivery of the teaching programme and as an administrative tool
• Build a positive relationship with each student as an individual
• Keep an open dialogue with parents as to class activities, programmes and expectations
• Attend, organise and assist with assemblies, special services, school and year level activities with the class
• Provide supervision for students who are participating in outdoor structured activities and during rostered play sessions; being able to respond in a timely manner to situations as they arise
• Work with students in whole class, small group and individual situations, accommodating learning activities at various heights depending on the age and physical needs of the students

The successful candidate will: 

• Hold a current registration as a teacher with the Teacher Registration Board
• Hold a current Working with Children Check
• Hold the appropriate academic qualifications, including a post graduate diploma or integrated undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education or have, in the opinion of the School Principal, sufficient experience as an early childhood educator
• Ability to work in a co-operative team environment
