We are currently recruiting for experienced and enthusiastic Welders/ Vehicle Body Builders to work at our workshop in Larapinta, QLD.

Primary responsibilities include

• Maintaining and repairing semi trailers and rigid truck bodies, including but not limited to: doors, roof sheets, roof rails etc.

• Ability to weld steel 1.6mm – 16mm ( MIG) and alloy 2 – 6mm ( MIG)

• Ability to perform curtain welding and basic auto electrical job

• Be able to conduct chassis alignment.

• Be able to read and interpret job cards, record works carried out in detailed job logs within strict timelines.

To be successful in this role, you will have 

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Experience in a smash repairs workshop

• Forklift and/or Heavy vehicle licence ( HC licence) desirable

• Basic painting skills highly desirable

• Technical Trade qualification is desirable
