About the role

We are seeking a Digital Print Production Assistant to join our dynamic team at Snap Toowoomba & Dalby. This is a full-time position based in Toowoomba, QLD. As a Digital Print Production Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our print production operations, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently, to specification, and on schedule. You will work alongside our experienced production team to manage the day-to-day activities of our digital printing facility, contributing to the smooth operation of our business and the satisfaction of our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting with the setup and operation of digital printing equipment and machinery

• Preparing print jobs for production, including file checking and material handling

• Monitoring print quality throughout the production process and identifying any issues

• Performing finishing tasks such as cutting, folding, collating, and binding materials

• Maintaining a clean and organised production environment in accordance with health and safety standards

• Assisting with inventory management and stock levels of paper, inks, and other printing materials

• Supporting the coordination of print jobs to ensure timely delivery to clients

• Providing basic technical support and troubleshooting for production-related queries

• Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the production facility

• Assisting with general administrative tasks as required

What we're looking for

• A keen interest in the printing and publishing industry with a willingness to learn

• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards

• Good organisational and time management skills to meet production deadlines

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment

• Basic computer literacy and ability to follow technical instructions

• Physical capability to perform manual tasks and lift materials as required

• Previous experience in printing, production, or a similar manufacturing environment is advantageous but not essential
