Job Description

You are at the heart of the hotel! As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will take ownership of guest rooms, ensuring our guests are provided with a clean, comfortable and welcoming space while helping create a memorable experience throughout their stay.

• Service and clean allocated guest rooms in accordance with brand standards
• Make beds, clean bathrooms and ensure rooms are presented to a high standard
• Check and restock guest room amenities and supplies
• Restock and maintain housekeeping trolleys
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors and surrounding areas
• Report maintenance issues, lost property or any concerns to the Housekeeping team

As a Houseperson, you will be an important part of our Housekeeping team, providing hands-on support across the hotel and ensuring our team has everything they need to keep rooms and guest areas running smoothly.

• Deliver and collect linen, towels, amenities and housekeeping supplies throughout the hotel
• Maintain linen rooms, storage areas and housekeeping equipment
• Assist Room Attendants with additional supplies and operational requirements
• Support with the removal of rubbish, used linen and other items from guest floors
• Maintain cleanliness of guest corridors, service areas and back-of-house spaces
• Respond to guest and team requests efficiently and professionally

As an Overnight Public Area Attendant, you will help ensure our hotel remains clean, welcoming and well presented throughout the night, taking ownership of the cleanliness of our shared guest spaces.

• Clean and maintain hotel public areas, including the lobby, lifts, corridors and guest facilities
• Clean and restock public bathrooms throughout the shift
• Complete scheduled deep-cleaning and overnight cleaning tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of high-traffic guest areas and respond to any cleaning requirements as they arise
• Ensure cleaning equipment, supplies and work areas are maintained safely and appropriately
• Work independently during overnight hours while supporting the wider hotel team when required
• Maintain a high standard of presentation throughout Friday and Saturday night shifts

Qualifications

• Warm and caring personality
• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset
• Ability to anticipate and focus attention on guest needs, being professional and welcoming
• Excellent organizational skills and time management
• Physically fit and able to do cleaning tasks 
• Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays as required
