The Role

We’re seeking an experienced Project Manager – Electronic Security to lead the delivery of security integration projects across the Gold Coast and broader South East Queensland region.

You’ll oversee high-value installations and service works from concept through to completion, coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest standard.

This role is ideally suited to someone based on or near the Gold Coast who is looking to take ownership of technically complex projects while helping grow Fortis Security’s presence in the region.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and deliver multiple electronic security projects across the Gold Coast and South East Queensland

• Coordinate technicians, internal resources, subcontractors, and suppliers

• Oversee project budgets, procurement, scheduling, forecasting, and reporting

• Monitor project progress, costs, risks, variations, and commercial outcomes

• Maintain compliance with all WHS and quality management requirements

• Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

• Resolve technical and operational challenges as they arise

• Ensure seamless project handovers with complete documentation and client sign-off

• Support the continued growth of Fortis Security’s Gold Coast operations

What You’ll Bring

• Experience as a Project Manager or Senior Security Technician within the electronic security industry

• Strong understanding of CCTV, access control, intercom, intrusion detection, and integrated security systems

• Demonstrated experience coordinating technicians, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients

• Strong commercial awareness, including budgeting, procurement, forecasting, and variations

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with Simpro experience highly regarded

• Excellent organisation, leadership, communication, and time-management skills

• A current and valid Australian Driver’s Licence

• Full and permanent Australian working rights

• Ideally based on the Gold Coast or within reasonable travelling distance
