Project Manager

Hanlon Industries is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the delivery of structural steel projects across commercial, industrial and infrastructure construction.

This is a hands-on project leadership role with responsibility for the end-to-end delivery of structural steel packages, from design and detailing coordination through fabrication, procurement, site installation and project completion.

Working closely with clients, builders, engineers, detailers, workshop teams, site crews and subcontractors, you’ll take ownership of project outcomes, ensuring work is delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of structural steel projects from award through to completion

• Manage project programmes, budgets, forecasting, procurement and commercial outcomes

• Coordinate engineering, detailing and technical requirements, including review of drawings and steel models

• Work closely with fabrication teams to manage production priorities, sequencing and project requirements

• Plan and coordinate site installation activities, subcontractors, cranes, logistics and resources

• Manage RFIs, variations, claims, progress reporting and contractual requirements

• Identify project risks early and drive practical solutions to keep projects moving

• Provide constructability input across design, fabrication, transport and erection methodologies

• Build strong working relationships with builders, clients, consultants and other project stakeholders

• Ensure projects meet Hanlon’s safety, quality, environmental and ISO management system requirements

What we’re looking for

• Demonstrated experience managing structural steel, commercial construction or similar complex construction projects

• Strong understanding of structural steel fabrication and erection processes

• Ability to interpret structural drawings, specifications and steel models

• Experience managing project budgets, programmes, variations and commercial performance

• Strong coordination skills across design, fabrication, procurement and site delivery

• Confident communication and stakeholder management skills

• A proactive approach with the ability to identify issues, make decisions and drive projects forward

• Qualification in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management or a relevant trade pathway will be highly regarded
