Food & Beverage Supervisor | Events & Restaurant

We’re looking for an enthusiastic Food & Beverage Supervisor to join our team at Tamborine Mountain Glades, an award-winning venue nestled in the beautiful rainforest of Tamborine Mountain.

From weddings and corporate conferences to busy restaurant services and special events, every shift brings something different. If you enjoy leading from the front, creating memorable guest experiences and working in a beautiful rainforest setting, we’d love to hear from you.

The Role

You’ll supervise our front-of-house team across a diverse range of services, including:

• Weddings and private functions
• Conferences and corporate events
• Rainforest Restaurant service
• Special events and busy resort periods

You’ll be responsible for helping each service run smoothly, maintaining high standards and supporting the team throughout the shift.

As this position primarily supports our busiest trading periods, availability for evenings and weekends is important.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Supervising front-of-house operations during service
• Leading, supporting and motivating the F&B team
• Coordinating smooth and efficient service
• Delivering a warm and professional guest experience
• Assisting with staff training and development
• Maintaining high presentation and service standards
• Working closely with our kitchen, events and management teams
• Responding to guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
• Helping ensure functions, weddings and restaurant services run to plan

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings energy, confidence and a genuine enjoyment of hospitality.

Ideally, you’ll have:

• Previous Food & Beverage supervisory or team leadership experience
• Experience within restaurants, weddings, functions, events or conference service
• A hands-on leadership style – you’re happy to lead from the floor
• Strong customer service skills
• Excellent communication and organisation
• The ability to remain calm and make decisions during busy services
• A reliable and flexible approach to shifts
• Current RSA – essential

Experience in a hotel, resort, wedding venue or busy restaurant environment would be highly regarded.
