Part-time Register Nurse

We are an established practice in the Glen Waverley are looking for a vibrant nurse to join our friendly team. This position would be great for someone returning to the workforce or looking at easing into semi-retirement, or somewhere in between previous experience is essential.

We use Best Practice, as well as HOTDOC experience with these programmer is preferred.

The role would require tasks such as but not limited to:

• Clinical Patient Care

• Chronic disease management

• Wound management

• Immunisations

• Assisting GP's in minor procedures

• Triaging patients

• Maintenance of practice equipment and stock

• Ear Syringing

• Iron infusion

• Health Screening/Assessment 

• Covid-19 Vaccine clinic

• Sterilisation of equipment

• Supporting our doctors in providing the very best patient care

The following attributes and skills are necessary for this job:

• Team Player

• Great skills in liaising with patients

• Excellent attention to details 

• Good personality and communication skills.

• Proficient computer skills.

• Excellent organisation and time management skills.

• Problem solving skills.

• Ability to self evaluate and correct when needed

• Be able to work in a dynamic environment

• Previous general practice experience (Preferable).
