About the role
About us
The Barwon Southwest Prison Precinct incorporates four custodial facilities located 6km north-west of Lara, 20km from the centre of Geelong and about 70km from Melbourne. The four custodial facilities consist of two maximum security prisons being HM Prison Barwon and Western Plains Correctional Centre and medium security prison Marngoneet Correctional Centre and Karreenga Annexe.
The BSW Prison Services Team provides both operational and administrative services to HMP Barwon, Marngoneet Correctional Centre and the Karreenga Annexe.
What you will do
As Administration Officer - Finance, you will provide finance and administrative support. You will work in a secure prison setting and have direct contact with prisoners.
