About the Opportunity

We are currently seeking an experienced and meticulous Clinical coders to join our Clinical coding team on a casual basis.

This role is designed to offer maximum flexibility making it perfect for an experienced coder, to pick up extra hours, work around existing commitments or enjoy a work from home arrangement. You will play a vital role in helping us maintain our coding targets and clear backlogs during peak periods.

What You’ll Bring to iMedX

To thrive in this role, you’ll have:

• Bachelor’s degree in Health Information Management or equivalent

• 5+ years of coding experience in tertiary hospitals (ICD-10-AM, ACHI)

• Sound Knowledge of Australian Coding Standards, Casemix, DRGs, Activity-Based Funding

• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

• Experience with coding tools (e.g., Codefinder, Turbocoder)
