About the role
UGL is seeking a E&I Supervisor to join the team on an ongoing 2\:2 Roster. This position will be based in Dongara, WA. Point of hire is Perth, WA.
This role is critical to the safe execution of brownfield works, requiring strong planning, stakeholder coordination, and the ability to manage interfaces with operations, maintenance, and project teams. You will provide frontline leadership across electrical and instrumentation (E&I) activities, coordinating work within an operational plant environment while ensuring safety, quality, schedule, and compliance objectives are achieved.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and Lead: Directly manage and lead a team of E&I Technicians and Electricians to ensure seamless coordination and collaboration in executing project tasks.
Safety Compliance: Enforce and promote a strong safety culture, ensuring that all electrical and instrumentation activities adhere to industry safety standards and company policies.
Quality Assurance: Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards and specifications.
Schedule Management: Develop and maintain a comprehensive schedule for Electrical activities, coordinating with other disciplines to optimize project timelines.
Resource Allocation: Efficiently allocate resources, equipment, and materials to meet project requirements and deadlines.
Communication: Foster effective communication within the team and collaborate with other discipline supervisors and project managers to address challenges and ensure smooth project progression.
Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues related to activities, providing innovative solutions to overcome obstacles.
Documentation: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of HV activities, including daily reports, progress reports, and any required project documentation.
2\:2 roster
12-hour days (per full shift worked)
About you:
Proven experience as a E&I Supervisor within LNG / Oil & Gas environments (2-5 years)
WA Electrical Licence
EEHA
Cert IV Instrumentation
Strong hands-on experience with E&I Planning & Execution
Strong Excel capability and high computer literacy
Ability to work independently while engaging effectively with client representatives
Strong commitment to safety, quality, and procedural discipline
