YEM Technology is looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our team at the Sino Iron Project on a 2:1 FIFO roster ex Perth.

YEM Technology is a Western Australian maintenance, commissioning, construction and electrical company specialising in fixed plant maintenance, shutdown maintenance, greenfield and brownfield SMPE&I construction services across the mining and mineral processing sectors.

About the Role
This is a permanent and casual opportunity based at Cape Preston, WA, working a 2:1 roster (one week days, one week nights, one week off). Shifts are 12 hours including a 30 minute paid lunch break.

What You Will Be Doing

• Performing maintenance, repair and installation of fixed plant equipment
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out preventative and corrective maintenance
• Contributing to safe and efficient shutdown execution
• Working within a skilled, integrated maintenance team

What We’re Looking For
Essential:

• Australian recognised Mechanical Fitter trade certificate
• HRWL: Elevated Work Platform (WP)
• Working at Heights (WAH)
• Confined Space Entry (CSE)
• White Card
• Valid C Class driver's licence
• Full Australian Working Rights
• Must be clean shaven and able to wear a respirator mask (3M 7500 or equivalent)

Desirable:

• HRWL: Basic Rigging (RB) or higher
• HRWL: Dogging (DG)
• First Aid / CPR
• Previous FIFO or mining experience
