New Care Services is seeking compassionate and experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) and Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurses (EENs) to join our growing team providing community-based care to Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) clients throughout the Mullumbimby region.

About the Role

We are currently recruiting for multiple nursing positions to support DVA-funded clients within the community. Opportunities are available across a range of shifts, including day, evening, and active overnight supports.

Responsibilities may include:

• Respiratory support and monitoring.

• Recognising and responding to signs of deterioration.

• Managing oxygen therapy and other clinical interventions.

• Providing palliative and end-of-life care support.

• Medication administration, including PRN medications.

• Mobility assistance and transfers.

• Continence management.

• Personal care and hygiene support.

• Maintaining accurate clinical documentation.

• Working collaboratively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Available Shifts

A variety of shifts are available, including:

• Day shifts

• Afternoon shifts

• Active overnight shifts

• Weekend shifts

Shift times may vary depending on client needs and service requirements.

About You

Registered Nurse Applicants

• Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.

• Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.

• Experience in community care, aged care, disability support, palliative care, or complex health care.

Medication Endorsed Enrolled Nurse Applicants

• Current AHPRA registration as an Enrolled Nurse.

• Current Medication Endorsement.

• Experience supporting clients with complex health needs.

Essential Requirements

• Current National Police Check.

• Current First Aid, Basic Life Support, and CPR certification.

• Valid Australian Driver's Licence and reliable vehicle.

• Excellent communication and documentation skills.

• A genuine commitment to person-centred care.
