We are currently seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Graduate Accountant to join our growing Melbourne team.

The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a highly motivated and capable Graduate Accountant to support the delivery of accounting, taxation, and SMSF compliance services across a diverse client base.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent accounting graduate looking to build a long-term career within a supportive, fast-paced, and progressive professional environment.

Working closely with senior accountants and managers, you will gain practical experience across a broad range of accounting and taxation services while developing strong technical and client relationship skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of individual, company, trust, partnership, and SMSF tax returns

• Assisting with preparation of financial statements and working papers

• BAS and IAS preparation

• Liaising with the ATO and clients regarding outstanding information

• Assisting senior team members with client queries and compliance matters

• Maintaining accurate client records and documentation

• Supporting the wider accounting and client services teams as required

About You

To be successful in this role, you will ideally possess:

• A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or related discipline

• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

• Experience with Excel, Xero, Class, MYOB, Handisoft, or other accounting software is advantageous but not essential

• Strong English language skills (written and verbal)

• Professional, proactive, and eager to learn

• Strong work ethic with a collaborative approach

• Commercially and business-minded

• Enjoy working in a progressive and evolving professional environment

• Australian Permanent Residency or Citizenship
