We are now seeking a capable and motivated Store Manager to lead our team, oversee the day-to-day operation of the store and help drive its continued success.

About the role

This is a hands-on leadership position suited to an experienced retail, automotive or tyre industry professional who enjoys working with customers, developing a team and taking ownership of business performance.

As Store Manager, you will be responsible for creating a safe, productive and customer-focused workplace while achieving the store’s sales, profit and operational objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily workflows and staff schedules to maximise productivity

• Lead, train, motivate and develop store employees

• Deliver excellent customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally

• Build new client paths and spot market openings to drive yearly revenue growth

• Manage sales targets, product pricing, budgets, KPIs and profitability

• Review store performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and control costs

• Oversee point-of-sale transactions, invoicing and account reconciliation

• Manage suppliers, stock ordering, merchandising and inventory accuracy

• Complete regular stocktakes and maintain accurate business records

• Monitor customer accounts and ensure payments are received within agreed trading terms

• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and store presentation

• Promote and enforce workplace health and safety requirements

• Run regular toolbox meetings and support ongoing staff training

• Build positive relationships with customers and the local community

About you

You will be a confident, approachable leader with strong commercial awareness and a genuine commitment to customer service.

Ideally, you will bring:

• Experience managing or supervising a retail, automotive or tyre business

• Strong leadership and people-development skills

• Sound knowledge of sales, budgets, KPIs and profit management

• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities

• Confidence using point-of-sale and business administration systems

• Strong attention to detail, particularly with stock, invoicing and reconciliation

• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to support the team

• An understanding of workplace health and safety practices

• Tyre fitting and wheel alignment experience, or a willingness to undertake training
