Business Analyst

Anglicare are currently seeking to hire a Business Analyst to join our projects team on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The overall purpose of the Business Analyst is to support the business in ensuring successful project execution of key projects aligned to Anglicare Queensland's Strategy - including the Digital Strategy. This role is a fixed term salaried contract and will not be paid as a day rate.

Under the direction of the Head of Transformation, the Business Analyst will:
Engage stakeholders and apply a structured approach for the collection, documentation and analysis of business needs and desired outcomesElicit and document requirements by reviewing existing documentation and running requirements gathering workshopsFacilitate business process improvement workshopsDocument information and procedures utilising BPMNUndertake business process analysis and redesign in collaboration with the business through the review and amendment of existing As-Is / To-Be business processes and workflowsWork with the business to review and amend existing procedure manuals and guidesPerform gap analysis & impact assessmentsAssist in writing project artefacts such as business case, scoping documents, user stories and test scenarios etc.Support all stages of testing of the solution against the requirementsWhat our team are looking for
Current National Police CertificateCurrent Queensland Driver Licence and own reliable vehicleDegree in Business, Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field, or significant experience within these fields.Ability and willingness to travel within the service regionDemonstrated experience in the fields of: stakeholder management and liaison, business process review and improvement, requirements definition, business case development, and vendor managementStrong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret business needs and translate them into application and operational requirementsHigh level problem solving and organisational skills including the ability to multi-task and strong attention to detailAbility to extract various needs of project stakeholders to formulate a single, consistent visionHigh level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholdersConsults and shares information and ensures others are kept informed of the issuesAbility to work autonomously, develops realistic plans for achieving goals and monitors and reports on progress effectively
