Student Communications Officer

• Support the student experience by delivering clear, engaging and timely communications that connect students with services, programs and opportunities throughout their journey at ANU.
• Contribute to student communication initiatives by preparing, publishing and maintaining content across digital channels, while using data and insights to support continuous improvement.
• Develop your communications expertise through hands-on experience in content creation, digital communications, project coordination and student engagement within a collaborative university environment.

The Student Communications Officer plays an important role in supporting the delivery of effective student communications that enhance the student experience and contribute to student success at ANU. Reporting to the Deputy Manager of Student Communications, you will provide communications, content and administrative support for student-facing communication programs and initiatives, helping to ensure students receive timely, accurate and accessible information.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, you will assist in the preparation, publication and maintenance of communications across a range of channels, including email, web and digital platforms. You will liaise with stakeholders to source and manage content, support communication projects and initiatives, maintain communication systems and resources, and contribute to reporting and evaluation activities that inform ongoing improvements to student communications.
