Disability Support Worker | Consistent Hours | Sippy Downs - Sunshine Coast

We're looking for someone who believes disability support is about more than completing tasks, it's about building trust, creating meaningful experiences, and supporting someone to live a life that reflects their own choices, interests and goals.

Join our small, dedicated team supporting one young woman with complex support needs in her family home and community. Because you'll be supporting just one participant, you'll have the opportunity to truly get to know her communication style, personality, routines and what matters most to her. This allows us to provide genuine, person-centred support every day.

No two shifts are the same. One day may involve visiting the beach, cycling, swimming or exploring the community, while another may focus on supporting meaningful routines at home, communication, sensory regulation or developing independence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Providing one-on-one support at home and in the community
• Assisting with personal care and daily living activities
• Supporting communication, engagement and meaningful community participation
• Following individual support plans and positive behaviour support strategies
• Working collaboratively with family and allied health professionals
• Completing accurate daily documentation

Shift Availability

Our service operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Applicants must be available across the following shift times:

• 7:00am – 2:00pm
• 2:00pm – 9:00pm
• 9:00pm – 7:00am

Weekend availability is essential.

Essential Requirements

• Female applicant (personal care requirements)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Current First Aid & CPR
• Current Driver's Licence
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module completed
• Australian working rights

Desirable

• Certificate III in Individual Support, Community Services or similar
• Previous experience supporting people with disability or complex support needs
