Welders - Ampol Lytton Turnaround

Wood delivers maintenance and turnaround services for the Ampol Lytton Refinery and is seeking experienced Welders for the upcoming Shutdown. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a fast-paced, high-performing team working on a major refinery event, commencing immediately for approximately 6 weeks.

This short-term role offers strong EBA benefits and rates. Penalty rates also apply.

You must be available within the next week for a medical.

This is a Brisbane-based role, however, those living outside of Southeast Queensland with the required skillset and experience, will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrable strong focus and commitment to safety

• Enjoy working in a team environment and self-motivated

• Prepared to also carry out pipefitting, as and when required

• Ability to work autonomously when required, while taking ownership of the role.
  

Qualifications

• Welding tickets 4, 5 and 7 (desirable)

• Pipe welding - Carbon Steel, Stainless Steel, Chromoly, MMAW, GTAW, FCAW experience required

• You will have proven maintenance experience in heavy industry environments

• Previous Shutdown/T&I experience is a definite advantage, as is O&G

• Trade qualified and working within a heavy industry environment for at least 5 years

• You must have in-date current Working at Heights and Confined Space tickets

• Must be available to pass a Wood medical, after providing the required certificates, safety tickets and driver’s licence to MyPass.
