We're seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Development Coordinator/Area Manager to support, develop and drive performance across a portfolio of stores throughout Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and the Northern Territory.

This role is ideal for a commercially minded retail leader who enjoys building strong relationships, coaching business owners and store leaders, and helping teams achieve outstanding results.

About the Role

Reporting directly to the General Manager, this pivotal role is the key link between the Tyrepower Support Office and the Store Network, providing operational guidance, commercial support and leadership across a region of approximately 40 stores.

You will work closely with store owners and their teams to improve business performance, strengthen customer experience, increase market share and ensure consistent execution of Tyrepower's standards, branding and strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with store owners and management teams across your region.

• Coach and develop store owners to drive sales growth, profitability and operational excellence.

• Conduct regular store visits and business reviews to identify opportunities and improve performance.

• Analyse sales trends, KPIs and market opportunities to support business growth.

• Support stores in implementing local and national marketing campaigns, promotions and business initiatives.

• Ensure flawless standards of customer service and brand presentation.

• Provide guidance on best practice retail operations, business development and network growth initiatives.

• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver effective support to the store network.

• Promote a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer focus.

About You

You are a relationship-focused leader who understands retail operations and knows how to influence outcomes through coaching, collaboration and proven commercial insight.

To succeed in this role, you'll have:

• Experience in a multi-site retail, franchising, automotive, tyre or service-based environment.

• Strong coaching, communication and relationship-building capabilities.

• Demonstrated success improving sales performance and operational outcomes.

• High administrative capabilities and tech skills.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to analyse data and identify business opportunities.

• A proactive and solutions-focused approach.

• High levels of energy, organisation, self-motivation and accountability.

• The flexibility and willingness to travel regularly throughout VIC, SA, TAS and NT.

• A current unrestricted driver's licence.
