[APS] Calibration & Workshop Repair Technician/Electrician

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Calibration/Workshop Repair Technician/Electrician to join our team. The role is responsible for overseeing and prioritising workshop calibration and repair processes while supporting electrical field service teams on-site with a broad range of electrical works as required. Reporting to the Office Manager, this position is based at our Campbelltown office.

About the role:

This role plays a key part in ensuring the smooth operation of workshop and field activities. Key responsibilities include:

• Calibrating electrical and electronic instruments
• Testing insulated safety equipment
• Repairing and maintaining variable speed drives and soft starters
• Travelling to job sites and performing testing as required
• Preparing and completing test and inspection reports
• Maintaining workshop facilities
   

About You: 

• The successful applicant should ideally have:  
• Demonstrated calibration experience 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to complete reports using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) 
• The ability to work effectively within a dynamic team environment and independently 
• Well-developed organisational skills and problem-solving ability 
• Experience repairing variable speed drives and soft starters 
• A current driver’s licence 
• An electrician or engineering licence (advantageous) 
• A forklift driver’s licence (preferred)
