Maintenance Officer

We are seeking a Maintenance Officer to join our Home Maintenance & Landscaping team for our Social Enterprise, reporting to our Home Maintenance & Landscaping Manager.

This role will support and supervise supported employees on both home maintenance tasks in the community for our customers, and in house maintenance across McCallum Sites.

About you

• You bring experience in general maintenance/repairs, supported with a related trade qualification

• You have demonstrated understanding of job quoting and ensuring work is delivered on time and within budget

• You have a genuine commitment to choice, control and inclusion for people with a disability

• You’re a collaborative team player who contributes to a positive, inclusive workplace and enjoys mentoring, coaching, and supporting others to succeed.

• You remain calm under pressure, using initiative and problem-solving skills to navigate unexpected situations.

• You’re highly organised, with strong time management skills and the ability to balance competing priorities effectively.

• You can work autonomously when needed, while also contributing positively within a team environment
