Carpenter Apprentice

About the Role

MyBuild Residential is looking for a motivated 2nd or 3rd Year Carpenter Apprentice to join our residential construction team. You’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside qualified carpenters on a variety of residential projects across the Cairns region — including new builds, bathroom renovations, and home extensions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist tradespeople in all aspects of residential carpentry

• Read and interpret building plans and specifications

• Measure, cut, and assemble timber structures and fittings

• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe worksite

• Follow all safety and quality procedures

About You

• Currently completing a 2nd or 3rd year Carpentry Apprenticeship

• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

• Reliable, punctual, and professional presentation

• Able to work well in a team

• White Card required

• Driver’s licence and own transport required

• Own tools required
