About the Role
Based in Launceston, we’re looking for an organised, proactive Administration Manager to lead our administration team and champion the day-to-day administrative functions supporting our services across the region.
You’ll oversee all administration functions for the site, including customer service, Accounts Payable and Receivable, operational and sales administration, and various other administrative tasks.
This is a role for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a fast-paced environment and is confident managing competing priorities. You’ll be trusted to lead and develop your team, manage your workload, identify opportunities to improve processes and build strong relationships across Sales, Operations, Administration, Workshop and Management.
What You’ll Do
You’ll play a key role in keeping the business running smoothly. You’ll oversee day-to-day administration, support your team and have the opportunity to identify improvements, streamline processes and make a genuine impact on how we do business.
Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing all administration functions and managing all associated administrative functions for the business
Identifying and executing opportunities regarding efficiency and productivity improvements in your team
Leading, mentoring, training and supporting your team, ensuring concerns are managed appropriately
Managing workflows and incoming and outgoing correspondence ensuring timely responses, appropriate follow up and managing escalated matters as required.
Delivering exceptional customer service by responding to telephone calls, emails, and other enquiries professionally and promptly.
Working collaboratively with Operations, Sales and Management teams to support business outcomes.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for an Administration Manager who enjoys taking ownership, improving processes and helping a business run smoothly. You’ll be a confident communicator, a natural problem-solver and bring a positive, can-do attitude with the ability to confidently juggle priorities in a busy environment.
You’ll also have:
Previous experience working in a similar leadership role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to engage professionally with both staff and customers and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
A calm, solutions-focused approach when working under pressure.
Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to manage, prioritise and multitask effectively while meeting deadlines and maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and administrative systems, with the ability and willingness to learn new tools and processes.
Excellent organisational and time management skills, with flexibility to manage tasks and changing priorities.
A team-first mindset while also being able to work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
