Production Operator

Edwards Group is involved in the manufacturing and supply of prepared culture media to hospitals, medical laboratories, food manufacturers and analytical laboratories.

We are currently looking for casual production operators to join our team in Murarrie. Full-time permanent roles will be available for the right people.

No prior experience is required, however, previous exposure in our industry will be highly regarded.  The suitable candidate must be willing to start within the next few weeks and available to work full time hours.

Full training will be provided, and this is an exciting opportunity to work with a supportive team.

Car parking available on site.

Duties and Responsibilities (including but not limited to):

• Operation of equipment and automated production lines

• Packing and labelling products, some manual labour and some automated

• Ensuring product quality before its labelled and packed

• Cleaning the production area as required

• Accurate recording of information on production records

• Previous experience in a cGMP environment

• Good housekeeping and hygiene practices

• Escalating issues to management

• Adhering to PPE requirements in relevant areas of the facility

Mandatory

• Ability to lift and carry 15kg

• Be happy to do some repetitive work

• Good communication abilities

• Good Literacy and numeracy

• Reliable transport

• Read and understand written procedures

• Work in a safe manner always

• Rights to work in Australia

• Able to stand all day

• Able to perform repetitive tasks
