Firehouse Subs – Store Manager

Firehouse Subs is expanding in Australia and we are building the team to help us become one of the most loved restaurant brands in the country. We are seeking a highly motivated full-time Store Manager to play a key leadership role across our next location in the Moreton Bay area to support our ambitious growth plan of over 150 locations in the next decade.

This is a full-time permanent position of 38 hours per week with weekend work required.

The Role

As the Store Manager you will own the performance, presentation and culture of your store. You will lead from the front, driving sales and operational standards while building a reliable, accountable, and enthusiastic team who demonstrates that customer experience is at the heart of all we do.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Deliver standout customer experiences that drive repeat business
• Drive and exceed individual and store sales targets and KPIs
• Analyse performance, control costs and execute local marketing initiatives
• Recruit, onboard and coach a high-performing team
• Set clear expectations and build a positive, accountable culture
• Ensure compliance with rosters, policies and employment legislation
• Maintain brand, safety and cleanliness standards of both Retail Food Group and Firehouse Subs
• Manage inventory and protect profitability
• Oversee daily reporting, banking and end-of-day procedures
• Resolve customer concerns professionally and efficiently

What We’re Looking For

You’re a hands-on retail leader with strong operational discipline and a proven track record of driving store performance. You lead from the front, hold high standards, know your numbers, and build engaged teams that consistently deliver results.

You’ll also bring:

• Demonstrated experience as a Store Manager or 2IC in a high-volume retail, QSR or trade-based environment (essential)
• Have some demonstrated success leading teams to achieve sales, KPIs and operational standards
• Strong supportive coaching, performance management and people leadership skills.
• Confidence using data and reports to drive decisions and improvements on store operations and profitability.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster including weekends and some public holidays.
• Commitment to completing Firehouse Subs brand training and applying learnings to deliver consistent operational standards.
