About the Role

Join our team at Kooragang Island as Production Operator.

This is a hands-on operational role where you'll be trained to safely operate and monitor the plant and equipment used within the Primary Distribution Centre.

We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, good basic IT skills and a willingness to learn. You do not need extensive industry experience – we will provide the training and support you need to become confident in the role.

What You Will Be Doing

• Safely operating and monitoring plant and equipment
• Using computer-based systems to monitor the process and record information
• Completing routine plant and equipment checks
• Following operating procedures and safety requirements
• Identifying and reporting issues or equipment faults
• Supporting the team to achieve production and operational targets
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised work environment
• Learning new processes, equipment and systems through on-the-job training

About You

You do not need to have extensive manufacturing or industrial experience to be successful in this role. We are looking for someone who:

• Has a positive attitude and is willing to learn
• Is comfortable using computers and basic IT systems
• Is reliable, safety-focused and takes pride in their work
• Has a strong commitment to safety
• Can follow procedures and work well as part of a team
• Has good communication skills
• Is keen to learn a new industry and develop their skills
• Has previous experience in manufacturing, production, mining, agriculture or a similar environment (desirable, but not essential).
