Forklift Driver

What's The Role: 

We're seeking an experienced Forklift Driver to join our team. It is an exciting opportunity to join our industry leading transportation company and play a key role in assisting hundreds of Australian businesses to meet their transport and logistics needs. 

Lindsay Transport is Australia’s largest fresh produce transporter, delivering temperature-sensitive freight to major markets and grocery distribution centres. Your responsibilities will include, but not limited to: • Safe Always – Demonstrating safe work practices, leading by example and promoting a safe work culture. • Temperature Sensitive Freight – working with and understanding temperature sensitive freight, ensuring the safe and timely handling. • Freight Handling – Loading and unloading vehicles; moving freight to and from storage areas; Primarily loading dry, fresh, refrigerated, frozen freight onto trailers for distribution. • Load Management & Accuracy – Load trucks in accordance with the load sheet • Equipment Operation – Stabilisation equipment is used as required.

What You'll Bring:

• Hold a valid and current forklift licence, with demonstrated operating experience
• Bring experience in warehouse operations, including pick packing and stocktaking
• Demonstrate experience loading and unloading trucks
• Possess refrigeration experience (preferred)
• Be reliable, punctual, and have strong communication skills
• Follow and complete transport documentation accurately
