Senior Desktop Support Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

• Support of VIP’s in the Melbourne office.
• Manage user accounts and permissions, ensuring appropriate access levels and security measures are maintained across systems
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users, ensuring efficient operation of hardware, software, and peripheral devices
• Provide fast and efficient response times to desktop service requests
• Provide advice and guidance to colleagues regarding incidents
• Conduct installation, configuration of desktops, laptops, peripheral equipment, and software
• Ensure that work is carried out within agreed service levels and in accordance with IT service level requirements
• Monitor and resolve technical issues, including operating system errors, application crashes, and network connectivity problems, ensuring minimal disruption to productivity
• Manage AV requests for events, virtual meetings, client meetings, seminars, education sessions, interviews, and ad-hoc requests
• Responsible for operating, testing, and troubleshooting audio and video equipment
• Liaise with staff to ensure AV requests are prepared and tested in preparation for all meetings and events
• Participation in Technology Projects

Required Skills:

• Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Strong customer service focus with a positive and proactive approach to client service 
• Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and work under pressure
• Strong attention to detail producing accurate work in a timely manner
• Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

• Experience with Zoom and MS Teams Rooms
• 3+ years Desktop Support experience, ideally gained within a professional services environment
• Vendor certification in one or more relevant technologies
• ITIL Foundation certificate.
