Administration Manager

Classification: ANU Officer 8 (Administration)
Salary package: $124,392 - $133,017 per annum plus 17% superannuation
Term: Full-Time, Continuing

The Position

The Administration Manager provides high-level support to the School Manager to ensure effective and efficient development and implementation of strategic plans, assisting with strategic projects aimed at maximising the School and College performance and overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of the School and College.

The Person

We are looking for an experienced, customer-focussed Administration Manager to join the College of Science and Medicine General Administration team. The Administration Manager leads a small team supporting two client groups to deliver excellent service across a range of administration duties, providing coaching and mentoring to their team on a daily basis. In addition you will support a range of strategic initiatives, provide expert advice on policy and procedures and work alongside your peers to define the most efficient and effective ways of delivering administration services across the College. The ideal applicant will have administration and leadership experience, preferably in the higher education sector.

The School

The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the disciplines of: Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Environment and Society, Mathematics, Physics, and Science Communication and is also home to a number of cross-disciplinary and specialist Institutes and Centres. Staff and students within the ANU College of Science and Medicine conduct research and deliver a research-led education program that encompasses the breadth of the sciences, supported by extensive international networks and by world-class facilities.
