Job Description
We have a newly created opportunity to join AFCA as the Executive Assistant to our Chief Technology Officer (CTO). This is not your typical EA role, you'll be a trusted adviser, proactive operator, and the person who keeps a busy executive, leadership team, and technology function running at their best. As the right-hand person to our CTO, you'll play a critical role in ensuring priorities stay on track and opportunities don't get missed. You'll be the hub connecting leaders, teams, and stakeholders across the business.
What You'll Do
Manage executive diary, ensuring maximum impact and effectiveness.Coordinate leadership rhythms including 1:1s, leadership meetings, town halls, business updates and team forums.Prepare presentations, reports, communications, and briefing materials.Organise leadership meetings end-to-end, including agendas, actions and follow-up.Preparing professional executive communications, presentations and reports that support engagement, alignment and decision-making across the organisation.Identifying opportunities to improve processes, streamline workflows and enhance collaboration through tools such as Microsoft 365, Jira and Confluence.Act as a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.Support recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities across the technology function.Manage travel arrangements, expenses, invoices, purchase orders and budget administration.Drive engagement initiatives, celebrations, team events and recognition activities.Anticipate challenges before they arise and proactively solve problems.Collaborate closely with AFCA's Executive Assistant community and support broader executive priorities as needed.
Qualifications
We're looking for someone who combines strong executive support experience with pace, sound judgement and a genuine partnership mindset.
You'll Bring
Experience supporting senior executives, ideally within Technology, Digital, Cyber, Data, Transformation or similarly complex environments.Exceptional stakeholder management skills and the ability to build trusted relationships across all organisational levels.Advanced Microsoft 365 skills and experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence.Strong written communication skills with the ability to produce high-quality executive documentation and presentations.Outstanding planning, prioritisation and multitasking capabilities.Sound judgement, discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.The ability to work independently, anticipate needs and proactively solve problems.Resilience, adaptability and a positive, solutions-focused mindset in a changing environment.
