They currently have a contract vacancy for a LINUX / AIX Administrator

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, Configure & Support LINUX/AIX- Automation/Monitoring/Backup
  
• Security Configuration – Manage system security on the servers
  
• Involvement and participation in the coordination and resolution of application, operating system, database, and network issues at a technical level 
  
• Upgrades and tuning of hardware as required
  
• Maintain change control procedures 
  
• Support disaster recovery strategy 
  
• Implement system backup
  
• Ensure existing systems continue to operate efficiently
  

  Your capabilities: 

• 5+ years' experience in Administration of LINUX / Aix
  
• Previous experience in being a sysadmin,
  
• Strong communication (written and verbal)
  
• Business acumen and ensure a consistently high level of customer satisfaction
  
• Technical aptitude, written and oral communications skills,
  
• Proven ability to operate in a high pressure dynamic environment,
