Inventory/ Admin Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an Inventory/Admin Supervisor to join the team at Priceline Pharmacy Green Valley. This is a part-time position based in Green Valley, NSW 2168. In this supervisory role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient management of our pharmacy's inventory systems and administrative operations. You will be responsible for overseeing stock control, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of our pharmacy. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your management skills within the retail and consumer products sector whilst maintaining a healthy work-life balance through part-time arrangements.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage inventory control processes, including stock receiving, checking, and organisation

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock levels are monitored regularly to prevent shortages or excess stock

• Conduct regular stock audits and reconciliations to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions

• Coordinate with suppliers and manage ordering processes to ensure timely replenishment of stock

• Support administrative functions including filing, data entry, and record-keeping

• Assist in the training and mentoring of staff members on inventory procedures and best practices

• Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement cost-saving measures

• Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and company policies regarding stock management

• Liaise with pharmacy staff to address any inventory-related issues or concerns

• Generate reports on inventory performance and present findings to management

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in inventory management or supervisory roles within retail or pharmacy environments

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively

• Proficiency in inventory management systems and computer applications (experience with pharmacy software is desirable (FRED OFFICE))

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and data management

• Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and motivate team members

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Knowledge of pharmacy operations and retail practices is advantageous

• Relevant qualifications in retail management or business administration are preferred but not essential

• Reliability and commitment to maintaining professional standards
