Site Supervisor

About the role

Safeway Building and Renovations Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join our dynamic construction team. This is a full-time position based in Perth, WA. As Site Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time and within budget. This role is critical to maintaining our reputation for quality workmanship and professional service delivery. You will report directly to senior management and have a direct impact on project success and team performance.

We're looking for someone who can take full project ownership from estimating through to project completion and have hands-on involvement.

What you'll be doing

• Overseeing all site operations and ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations

• Managing and coordinating construction teams, subcontractors and tradespeople to ensure efficient workflow

• Monitoring project timelines, budgets and resources to ensure objectives are met

• Inspecting work quality and ensuring all tasks are completed to specification and industry standards

• Liaising with clients, architects, engineers and suppliers to communicate progress and resolve any issues

• Maintaining accurate site records, including timesheets, material logs and progress reports

• Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance productivity and efficiency

• Responding to and managing any incidents or safety concerns on site

What we're looking for

• Minimum 5 years' experience in construction site supervision or equivalent experience

• Current Construction Induction Card (White Card) or equivalent certification

• Demonstrated experience managing construction teams and coordinating subcontractors

• Strong knowledge of building codes, safety regulations and construction best practices

• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously

• Proven track record in budget management and cost control

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to liaise effectively with all stakeholders

• Problem-solving ability and attention to detail

• Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to various sites as required, including occasional regional work.

• Certification in First Aid and CPR is highly desirable
