About the role

Eureka Furniture is seeking a Casual Warehouse Labourer to join our dynamic team in Mackay. This is a casual position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work in a fast-paced warehousing environment. You will be integral to our warehouse operations, supporting the movement, storage and distribution of furniture products. This role is based on-site at our Mackay facility, where you will contribute to maintaining efficient warehouse operations and ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate order fulfilment.

What you'll be doing

• Loading, unloading and organising furniture and products within the warehouse

• Picking and packing orders accurately according to customer specifications

• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently

• Maintaining accurate inventory records and assisting with stock taking activities

• Ensuring the warehouse remains clean, organised and safe in accordance with health and safety standards

• Assisting with the receipt and dispatch of goods, ensuring proper documentation

• Supporting the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines

• Following all company policies, procedures and safety protocols

What we're looking for

• Physical fitness and ability to lift and carry heavy items regularly

• Experienced in the assembly and placement of furniture, you would be good with your hands and think outside the box to solve problems onsite.

• A good work ethic

• Some basic handyman skills helpful in the occasional repair

• Willing to lift furniture and assist with unloading trucks, organising furniture deliveries.

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in picking and packing tasks

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude

• Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for casual work

• Commitment to health and safety practices

• Flexibility to work various shifts as required
