Project Sales Consultant

About the Role 

We are seeking an experienced Project Sales Consultant with a strong background in managing complex customer journeys and delivering high-value residential projects. 

This role is suited to someone who understands that customers investing in significant home projects require more than a sales transaction — they need expert guidance, clear communication, and confidence throughout the entire process. 

You will be responsible for managing the customer experience from initial consultation through to project completion, providing knowledgeable advice, understanding customer goals, and ensuring a seamless transition from sale through to construction delivery. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Manage the complete customer journey from initial enquiry through to contract completion. 

• Conduct customer consultations to understand lifestyle requirements, project expectations, budget considerations, and desired outcomes. 

• Provide expert guidance on design options, site considerations, access requirements, project timelines, and construction processes. 

• Educate customers on the various stages of their project journey, ensuring expectations are clearly established from the beginning. 

• Build strong relationships with customers through trust, transparency, and a consultative approach. 

• Work closely with internal teams including design, construction, and customer support to ensure a seamless customer experience. 

• Maintain accurate customer information, sales activity, and project details within CRM systems. 

• Manage follow-ups, customer communication, and opportunities through to successful completion. 

• Achieve sales targets while maintaining a high standard of customer service and project ownership. 

About You 

• You are an experienced sales professional who thrives in a consultative environment and understands the importance of guiding customers through complex purchasing decisions. 

You will have: 

• Proven experience selling high-value products, services, or residential projects. 

• Experience within industries such as construction, renovations, building products, landscaping, outdoor living, or similar sectors. 

• A strong understanding of the residential construction journey from initial consultation through to completion. 

• The ability to confidently communicate technical information and explain project processes to customers. 

• Strong negotiation, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. 

• Excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple customer projects simultaneously. 

• A customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering exceptional outcomes.
