Caesarstone Benchtop installation Labourer

About the role

Prostone is seeking a Caesarstone Benchtop Installation Labourer to join our team on a casual basis. This role is based in Clayton, VIC 3168 and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic trades and services environment. As a Caesarstone Benchtop Installation Labourer, you will provide essential support to our installation teams, ensuring that high-quality benchtop installations are completed efficiently and to the highest standards. This position is fundamental to delivering excellent service to our customers and maintaining Prostone's reputation for quality craftsmanship.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting installers with the preparation and installation of Caesarstone benchtops at customer locations

• Preparing work areas by removing old benchtops, and ensuring surfaces are clean and ready for installation

• Handling and transporting Caesarstone materials safely, including cutting and fitting pieces as directed

• Using hand tools and power tools appropriately under supervision to support installation tasks

• Ensuring all work sites are kept clean, safe, and free from hazards throughout the installation process

• Assisting with the finishing touches, including sealing and polishing of benchtops as required

• Maintaining communication with the installation team and customers to ensure smooth project completion

• Following all health and safety protocols and procedures on site at all times

What we're looking for

• Previous experience in a similar labouring role within trades and services, ideally with benchtop or kitchen installation work

• Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy materials regularly, as Caesarstone is a dense engineered stone

• Practical knowledge of hand and power tools used in installation and finishing work

• A strong commitment to health and safety on work sites

• The ability to work efficiently as part of a team under the direction of experienced installers

• Reliable, punctual, and professional approach to casual work

• A valid driver's license is preferred to support travel between job sites

• Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent construction-related qualification is advantageous but not essential
