You will be working as an employee within our facility, on set hours each week, with potential to grow within our company.

This opportunity allows you to have security within a job space. We will provide you with full training and support from our experienced team upon first commencing your employment.

The role:

In this dynamic front-of-house role, you'll greet members with energy and warmth, delivering standout service from the moment they walk through our doors. This is a diverse role that will have you switching from answering calls, to making protein smoothies, to conducting gym tours and membership sales - you’ll keep things running smoothly and make everyone feel right at home.

Key responsibilities include:

• Greet everyone & serve customers at both the front desk & café.

• Answering calls, handling queries & member concerns, directing the member to the relevant manager if necessary.

• Actively contribute to achieving KPIs by implementing effective sales promotions and referral campaigns.

• Generate and convert sales leads through community outreach, seeking referrals and identifying new business opportunities.

• Create exceptional member experiences through positive and personalized interactions.

• Engage in member retention programs to encourage and support members in their fitness journey.

• Conduct regular check ins to both new and current members to maintain their commitment to their fitness journey.

• Assist and create engaging social media content using Canva and video editing tools to drive brand awareness and audience engagement across digital platforms.

• Maintain facility cleanliness ensuring the gym floor, cafe and reception areas are always neat & tidy.

• Perform opening & closing duties in a timely manner.

• Follow directions, prioritise & complete tasks in a timely manner.

• Perform café duties, including using a coffee machine & making protein smoothies.

• Utilise the computer & our various software systems to look up member details, create access key tags, process purchases & assist members with booking classes

• Be actively involved in Hydra Gym's community by attending social and community events, and staff get togethers.

To start you will require:

• Availability to start ASAP.

• Weekday availability and must be able to work Saturdays.

• Previous customer service/sales experience with excellent communication skills.

• Previous barista/cafe all-rounder experience (ideal, but not required).

• A proactive mindset, eagerness to learn, and a strong drive to grow.

• A passion for health & fitness & eagerness to work for the industry.

• Bring a strong work ethic, show initiative, and thrive as a motivated, adaptable team player who can multitask with ease.

• Computer literacy & ability to learn new systems.

• Uphold policies and procedures of Hydra Gym to members, customers and staff.

• Hold a current First Aid & CPR Certificates (or willing to obtain)

• Have Australian working rights.
