Piccolina Gelateria is an artisan gelateria dedicated to producing exceptional gelato using authentic Italian techniques and premium ingredients. We're looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Full-Time Casual Gelato Maker to join our production team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on food production, takes pride in quality craftsmanship, and is looking for a stable, long-term role within a growing business.

This is a full-time casual position offering 38–40 hours per week (depending on production requirements).

Working as part of our production team, you'll be responsible for preparing and producing our artisan gelato while maintaining the highest standards of quality, consistency, food safety, and cleanliness.

• Prepare gelato mixes and recipes accurately and consistently.

• Operate gelato production equipment safely and efficiently.

• Monitor production processes to ensure premium product quality.

• Maintain high standards of food safety, cleanliness, and hygiene.

• Assist with ingredient preparation, stock rotation, and daily production planning.

• Work collaboratively with the production team to meet daily production targets.

• Help maintain a clean, organised, and efficient workspace.

You'll be someone who:

• Has previous experience in a commercial kitchen, bakery, pastry kitchen, food manufacturing, or gelato production environment.

• Has a passion for quality food and enjoys working with premium ingredients.

• Is physically fit and comfortable performing manual tasks in a production environment.

• Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing consistent, high-quality products.

• Is reliable, punctual, and has a strong work ethic.

• Works well independently and as part of a team.

• Has good communication skills and a positive attitude.

• Is available to work weekdays, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Our production kitchen is located in an industrial area with limited public transport access. Applicants with their own reliable transport are strongly preferred. Free on-site parking is available for all staff.
