The position

We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Manager to establish and lead FYI's finance function, creating the systems, reporting and governance required to support our continued growth.

This newly created role offers the opportunity to build a scalable finance function from the ground up while working closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to provide meaningful commercial insight that supports strategic decision-making. You'll combine strong technical accounting capability with a hands-on approach, leading continuous improvement across financial operations, reporting, automation and governance.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and continuously improve FYI's finance function, implementing scalable processes, controls and governance frameworks.
• Lead financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and cash flow management, providing accurate insights that support business performance.
• Partner with the CEO and Leadership Team to deliver commercial analysis, financial modelling and recommendations that drive strategic decisions.
• Strengthen finance operations by improving automation, reporting, systems and operational efficiency across the business.
• Lead financial governance, compliance and risk management while overseeing the Finance Administrator and supporting the ongoing maturity of the finance function.

About you

• CA or equivalent recognised accounting qualification.
• 5+ years' experience in a Finance Manager or similar leadership role within a SaaS environment.
• Strong technical accounting capability with demonstrated experience improving financial processes, controls and management reporting.
• Advanced systems capability and confidence working with accounting platforms, reporting tools and financial data.
• A hands-on, continuous improvement mindset with a passion for building scalable finance functions.

You'll need valid working rights in Australia and the ability to complete satisfactory background and verification checks as part of our standard recruitment process.
